Membership in the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce allows member representatives to participate in various Chamber committee activity. All committee and task force work is crucial to the accomplishment of the Greater Hall Chamber’s Business Plan. Take advantage of the benefits of membership, and join a committee!

Economic Development

Environmental Management

Promotes and expands environmental management of local existing industries through education forums. Meets monthly.

Lake Lanier Technology Alliance
Promotes education and networking of career technology professionals. Meets monthly. Dues required.

AgriBusiness Committee
Increases the community's understanding and communicates effectively the importance of agribusiness to Hall County's economy. Meets as needed.

Drugs Don't Work
Promotes and expands anti-drug program in businesses by enlisting members in the program for training. Discounts on insurance available to program participants.

Industry Roundtable
Manufacturers, distributors and processors meet for plant tours and shared information. Dues required. Limited to CEO’s and industry managers. Quarterly.

Human Resource Council
Limited to existing industry HR managers as approved by council vote. Dues required. Meets monthly.

Small Business Council
Provides a forum for small businesses to assist each other by communicating ideas, sharing knowledge and experience and providing leads in order to become more successful. Seminars monthly.

Membership Development and Marketing

Business Expo & Trade Show Committee
Assists in planning and promoting event, booth space sales and overall coordination. Meets October - March.

Ambassador Council
Active in ribbon cuttings, Business After Hours and assorted projects throughout the year. Dues required. Meets monthly.

Membership Relations Committee
Develops strategies and identifies projects and activities that focus on retaining members. Meets monthly.

Marketing Council
Evaluates and advises marketing/communications. Meets as needed.

Hackers Holiday Golf Tournament Committee
Assists in planning and working the Annual Golf Tournament. Meets Winter-Spring.

Leads Group
Helps to develop business relationships and generate referrals and leads. Meets the first and third Wednesday of each month.

Education and Community Development

Beautification Committee
Promotes beautification efforts in the Greater Hall area. Meets the third Wednesday of each month.

Annual Meeting & Gala
Assists in overall planning for the Chamber’s Annual Meeting & Gala. Meets November - May.

International Business Committee
Promotes and supports programs for interaction with the international business community.

Healthcare Committee
Educate and address healthcare issues as relates to business. Meets the 1st Wednesday of each month.

Partners in Education

Promotes and supports business/education partnerships. Meets as needed

South Hall Council
Addresses needs of South Hall businesses. Holds monthly programs.

Government Affairs

Georgia Legislature Committee
Assists with the planning of the annual event given for members for the Georgia General Assembly. Meets as needed (September - February).

Issues Committee
Studies community issues, formulates and adopts policies on issues affecting business community. Limited number. Meets monthly.

Vision 2030
Vision 2030 is a year-long community planning process where hundreds of citizens will be asked to share ideas for how they want to live, work, and play in Gainesville-Hall County over the next 25 years.
