*7.5% Discount available on Worker’s Comp Insurance Premiums to all certified Drug Free Workplaces that purchase a premium; if you are self-insured, the 7.5% is from your state assessment fee.
The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce provides the Drugs Don’t Work program at a cost of $50 annually to empower business owners with the tools needed to ensure a drug free workplace and to obtain Drug Free Workplace Certification and the 7.5% discount on Workers Compensation Premiums.

To obtain drug free workplace certification and qualify for the 7.5% discount on your workers' compensation premiums, your must complete the following steps:

Simplified Check List:
- Step One:
- Substance Abuse Policy (English and Spanish translations provided.)
- Step Two:
- Drug Testing (You do NOT have to test all your employees. Pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident testing are required. Random drug testing is not required, however, is suggested. Certified Testing Providers list provided.)
- Step Three:
- Employee Education (Monthly newsletter in both English and Spanish translations to distribute to employees equaling 2 hours of training annually. Half of training must be complete before applying for certification.)
- Step Four:
- Supervisor Education (Chamber DDW Program registered members will be provided a supervisor newsletter to distribute to supervisors equaling 1 hour of training annually. The balance of required training can be accomplished by trainer. Half of training must be complete before applying for certification.)
- Step Five:
- Post Referral List of treatment services (Treatment center list provided.)
- Step Six:
- Submit Application to the State Board of Worker’s Compensation annually for Certification.
